On November 30, Disney+ teased fans by releasing images from their upcoming crime series ‘The Worst Evil’. Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Im Se Mi star in these images, which give us a glimpse into their characters. Fans are already anticipating the appearance of this trio on the big screen.
The Worst Evil
The Worst Evil’ is a crime action drama set in South Korea in the 1980s. The plot revolves around undercover police officers who infiltrate a massive criminal organization that traffics illegal drugs between South Korea, China, and Japan. With its distinct storyline and star-studded cast, this action-crime drama has already set a high standard. Han Dong Wook is set to direct the drama.
Cast
Ji Chang Wook will play Park Joon Mo, a police officer who delves deeper into the illegal drug trading cycle. Wi Ha Joon will play the antagonist Jung Gi Cheol, the criminal organization’s leader. Im Se Mi will play Park Joon Mo’s wife, a narcotics officer, in the role of Yoo Eui Jung.
Ji Chang Wook is known for taking on difficult roles in his new films. His hit dramas include ‘The Sound of Magic,’ ‘Suspicious Partner,’ ‘The K2,’ and ‘Healer,’ among others. Wi Ha Joon, who rose to fame with roles in ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Little Women,’ will be interesting to watch as the antagonist in this series. Meanwhile Im Se Mi is best known for her role in ‘True Beauty’. The drama does not yet have an official release date, but it is expected to premiere in the second half of 2023.
