Season 2 of “Taxi Driver” on SBS is off to a great start!

“Taxi Driver,” based on the popular webtoon of the same name, is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to obtain justice through the legal system. The hit drama starring Lee Je Hoon has returned for a second season after a successful run in 2021.

“Taxi Driver 2” premiered on February 17 to higher viewership ratings than the first season of “Taxi Driver.” The first episode of “Taxi Driver 2” received an average nationwide rating of 12.1 percent, easily making it the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night, according to Nielsen Korea.

“Taxi Driver 2” was also the most-watched program of any kind to air on Friday, with an average rating of 5.2 in the Seoul metropolitan area among viewers aged 20 to 49.

Meanwhile, “Kokdu: Season of Deity” returned to a 2.7 percent average nationwide rating for the night.
