Kim Yoon Woo is featured in new stills from MBC’s “My Dearest”!

“My Dearest” is a historical romance drama that takes place in the Joseon period. It tells the story of a woman named Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin) who longs to find love again after two disastrous marriages, and a man named Lee Jang Hyun (Namgoong Min), who has proclaimed he will never marry.

In the past, Ryang Eum (Kim Yoon Woo) went in search of Lee Jang Hyun in order to inform him of Yoo Gil Chae’s capture in Simyang. Lee Jang Hyun bravely placed himself in front of an arrow aimed at Gil Chae so that he might take the strike instead of Gil Chae, but in the process, he was wounded. Yoo Gil Chae and Lee Jang Hyun had to go through a heartbreaking breakup because of Ryang Eum, but with her support, the two were able to get back together in the end.

In the middle of this, the recently made public stills show Ryang Eum crying while holding Lee Jang Hyun’s hand as he passes out from his wounds.

“Ryang Eum’s intense affection [for Lee Jang Hyun] is profoundly tied to the shocking history that Lee Jang Hyun and Ryang Eum went through together,” the production team said. Ryang Eum’s tragic past will be disclosed in episode 15. Please pay close attention to the reasons behind Ryang Eum’s romantic feelings for Lee Jang Hyun, the emotions he watched over Lee Jang Hyun and Yoo Gil Chae’s relationship, and the impact he will have going forward.
