Song Joong Ki is working on his next project, “My Name is Loh Kiwan.””My Name is Loh Kiwan,” based on Jo Hae Jin’s novel “I Met Loh Kiwan” (literal title), tells the story of North Korean defector Loh Kiwan (Song Joong Ki), who arrives in Belgium with his last hope, and Marie (Choi Sung Eun), a woman who has lost her reason to live.Song Joong Ki will play Loh Kiwan, a refugee seeking asylum in Belgium, a foreign country to which he travels with nothing to his name.

Choi Sung Eun, known for his work on “Start-Up,” “The Sound of Magic,” and “Gentleman,” will play Marie, a Korean professional shooter with Belgian citizenship. Unlike Loh Kiwan, who travels all the way to Belgium in the hopes of finding work, Marie has lost her reason for living, but she unintentionally falls in love with Loh Kiwan after their first meeting.Jo Han Chul, who appeared in “Reborn Rich” alongside Song Jong Ki and “The Sound of Magic” alongside Choi Sung Eun, will play Marie’s father Yoon Sung. Kim Sung Ryung will also appear in the film as Ok Hee, who becomes the driving force behind Loh Kiwan’s trip to Belgium.

Lee Il Hwa will play Marie’s mother Jung Joo, while Lee Sang Hee will play Sun Joo, a Korean immigrant whom Loh Kiwan meets at a factory in Belgium, and Seo Hyun Woo will play Loh Kiwan’s uncle Eun Chul.
