SBS’s “Taxi Driver 2” has released new Lee Je Hoon stills!
“Taxi Driver,” based on the popular webtoon of the same name, is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to obtain justice through the legal system. The hit drama will return for a second season later this month, following a successful run in 2021. Lee Je Hoon will reprise his role as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who now works as a service driver.
Kim Do Gi, dressed in a black leather jacket, is seen dealing with multiple villains on his own in the newly released stills.
“As the criminal entertainment aspect has been strengthened compared to Season 1, we have made every effort to add to the speed and thrill in the action sequence,” the production team stated. We renovated the taxi to improve the car action scenes, and martial arts director Yoon Dae Won of “Hostage” and “Escape from Mogadishu” joined [the team] to design the action sequence. As Kim Do Gi punishes [the villains] in a more impressive manner, viewers will be able to enjoy the action scenes more. Please keep it in mind.”
The sequel to “Taxi Driver” will be released on February 17 at 10 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
