Oh, Jung. Se could be cast in a new romantic comedy drama!On April 17, JTBC announced that actor Oh Jung Se will play the lead role in the upcoming drama “Mr. Plankton” (literal title).Oh Jung Se’s agency PrainTPC responded to the report, saying, “Oh Jung Se received an offer to star in ‘Mr. Plankton’ and is currently reviewing it.”

“Mr. Plankton” is a rom-com drama about a man who chooses to live a nomadic life because no one loves him or holds him back. Cho Yong of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Jugglers” will pen the script for the drama, which will be directed by Hong Jong Chan of “Link: Eat, Love, Kill,” “Juvenile Justice,” and “Life.”Oh Jung Se is in talks to play Eo Heung, a stuffy doctor of Korean medicine and the 18th descendant of the Chunghaegong faction’s Eo family of Poongyeong.It was previously reported on April 14 that actors Woo Do Hwan and Lee Yoo Mi are also in talks for the drama.
