“If You Wish Upon Me” is a new drama inspired by a real-life organization in the Netherlands that grants terminal cancer patients’ wishes. Ji Chang Wook will play Yoon Gyeo Re, a man pushed to his limits by a difficult life full of challenges. However, when Yoon Gyeo Re is forced to volunteer at a hospice, he discovers that his life is changing in unexpected ways while helping to grant the patients’ wishes.
Ji Chang Wook’s contrasting charms are on display in newly released behind-the-scenes photos, as he effortlessly switches from laser focus to a beaming smile. The actor is serious while monitoring his own performance and discussing scenes with the cast and crew, but in more lighthearted moments, he lights up the set with his cheerful grin and infectious energy.
In another heartwarming photo, the actor is seen adorably keeping a dog warm inside his coat between takes.
“Actor Ji Chang Wook is displaying flawless acting abilities, from his focus on set and his detailed portrayal of emotions to the way he passionately throws himself into action and comedy scenes without reservations,” the producers of “If You Wish Upon Me” said. Ji Chang Wook was the only person who could have played Yoon Gyeo Re. We hope that a large number of people will join us for this one chapter in Yoon Gyeo Re’s life, which is a roller coaster ride full of ups and downs.”
