Park Joo-Hyeong was adopted at the age of eight and moved to Italy. He is now an adult named Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong-Ki). He is a lawyer who works as a consigliere for the Mafia. He flees to South Korea as a result of a mafia war. In South Korea, he falls for Lawyer Hong Cha-Young (Jeon Yeo-Bin). She is the type of lawyer who will go to any length to win a case. Vincenzo Cassano develops feelings for her. He also works for social justice in his own unique way.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010)

Song Joongki’s breakthrough work was Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The historical drama series, starring Park Minyoung and Yoo Ah-in, is set during a period when women were not permitted to be educated or employed. Kim Yoon-hee (Park Minyoung), the main character, ends up becoming an illegal substitute test-taker to help people gain admission to Sungkyunkwan, the most prestigious educational institute in the Joseon Dynasty. Gu Yong-ha, an upperclassman at the organization, is played by Song Joongki.

A Werewolf Boy (2012)

This fantasy romance film from 2012 tells the story of a teen girl (Park Bo-young) and a feral boy (Song Joongki). A Werewolf Boy, a much-loved, beautiful love story, marked a watershed moment in Song’s career, topping box office charts and premiering internationally at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.

Descendants of the Sun (2016)

Descendants of the Sun, starring Song Joongki, Song Hyekyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Jiwon, was one of the most talked-about K-dramas of 2016. It depicts the love story of Yoo Si-jin (Song Joongki), a South Korean Special Forces unit captain, and Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hyekyo), a celebrity doctor. The show, which aired across Asia, increased tourism in South Korea and Greece. The popular show has even been translated into Filipino and Vietnamese.

Space Sweepers (2021)

Space Sweepers, one of Netflix’s biggest movie releases this year, topped charts worldwide upon its debut on the streaming platform. The film, directed by Song Joongki and Kim Taeri, is set in a dystopian world in which a large corporation plans to build a new home on Mars. Dorothy, a child robot regarded as a highly dangerous weapon, is discovered by the Victory Ship’s crew of Korean members.
