Prepare for “Squid Game” Season 2!
Netflix has released the first teaser for the highly anticipated second season of the smash hit series, months after Season 1 took over the world.
Playfully riffing on the famous “Red Light, Green Light” game from “Squid Game,” Netflix officially announced Season 2’s greenlight on its social media channels by writing, “Red light… GREENLIGHT! “The Squid Game is officially returning for Season 2!”
Netflix also shared a special message from “Squid Game” director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong Hyuk, in addition to an eerie teaser video featuring the unforgettable motion-sensing doll Younghee.
Hwang Dong Hyuk confirmed in his message that both Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun will reprise their roles as Gi Hun and the Front Man in Season 2—and he teased that Gong Yoo (“the man in the suit with ddakji”) may also return.
