It’s official: “Pachinko” will have a second season!

Apple TV+ officially announced the renewal of “Pachinko” for Season 2 on April 29 local time, ahead of the Season 1 finale.

“Pachinko,” based on MIn Jin Lee’s best-selling novel of the same name, is a multi-generational saga of war and peace, love and separation, and victory and judgment that spans Korea, Japan, and the United States. Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho, Kim Min Ha, and others are among the cast members.

Soo Hugh, showrunner, creator, writer, and executive producer of “Pachinko,” stated, “Words cannot express my joy in continuing to tell the extraordinary story of this indomitable family.” I’m grateful to the incredible team at Apple and Media Res studio for believing in and supporting this show, as well as to our ardent fans who have supported us.
