Ji Chang Wook to Play Reputable Detective in Comeback Drama

Ji Chang Wook has amassed a worldwide fan base since starring in “The K2” as a tactical spy.

He’s played a variety of roles since then, including magician, delivery man, and even ex-convict. Ji Chang Wook returns to television in 2023 as a detective in “The Worst of Evil.”

The story, set in the 1990s, follows the life of a detective who goes undercover as a drug dealer in order to infiltrate a drug-trafficking gang in Southeast Asia.

Ji Chang Wook plays Park Joon Mo, a dedicated police officer who upholds righteousness and good conduct in the series.

Meanwhile, “Squid Game” actor Wi Ha Joon plays the leader of the drug organization in the drama. Im Se Mi, who previously appeared in “True Beauty,” portrays Park Joon Mo’s wife Yoo Eui Jung.

Filming began in the latter half of 2022, with the goal of completing the project by 2023. For foreign viewers, it will be available on Disney+ with English subtitles.
