Park Shin Hye’s family dynamics are revealed in JTBC’s upcoming drama “Doctor Slump,” a romantic comedy about two former rivals who reunite and unexpectedly become each other’s light during the darkest period of their lives. The freshly revealed stills feature Jang Hye Jin, Hyun Bong Sik, and Yoon Sang Hyun, who will portray true family dynamics alongside Park Shin Hye in the drama.

Gong Wol Sun, the mother of Nam Ha Neul, will be played by Jang Hye Jin. Despite her husband’s early death, Gong Wol Sun has to deal with constant nagging from her sisters-in-law, and her only son is still struggling to find work in his thirties. Nam Ha Neul, who has always excelled in her studies and is now a doctor, becomes a source of immense comfort for Gong Wol Sun.

Hyun Bong Sik will play Nam Ha Neul’s uncle, Gong Tae Sun. Despite his unique personality and strong charisma, he is actually a chef and owner of a well-known buckwheat noodle restaurant. When his sister Gong Wol Sun moved from Busan to Seoul with her two children, Gong Tae Sun followed to ensure that Nam Ha Neul and Nam Ba Da did not feel the absence of their father. Because Nam Ha Neul and Gong Tae Sun are on the same wavelength, Gong Tae Sun takes on a father-like role in her life.

Finally, Yoon Sang Hyun, a newcomer, will play Nam Ha Neul’s younger brother, Nam Ba Da. Throughout his school years, he was constantly compared to his sister, who consistently ranked first. Despite remaining unemployed after graduation, Nam Ba Da maintains his carefree and bright personality, facing pressure and criticism with a positive attitude that keeps him unfazed in any situation.
