“Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” on tvN has released a sneak peek at Lee Dong Wook and Ryu Kyung Soo’s upcoming fight!

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938” is a sequel to the hit 2020 drama “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” which told the story of Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), a male gumiho (mythical nine-tailed fox) in the present day. In the new sequel, however, he finds himself unexpectedly back in 1938, and he embarks on an eventful adventure in his quest to return to the present.

Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo) are caught in a test designed by Jang San Beom, a powerful ghost, in the upcoming episode. The secret between Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young is also revealed as a result of this ghost.

The new images demonstrate Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young were unexpectedly trapped in the world of “Rustic Period,” a 2002 SBS drama starring Ahn Jae Mo as former mob leader turned politician Kim Doo Han. A mysterious number stands beside them, counting down exactly one hour.

The charismatic Kim Doo Han greets the two, who appear befuddled by their new surroundings. To return to the real world, the duo must first defeat Kim Doo Han and his minions before tracking down their friend Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) within an hour.

Between the mysterious countdown and being caught in Jang San Beom’s trap, viewers are eager to learn whether Yi Yeon and Cheon Moo Young will be able to defeat Kim Doo Han’s group and find Ryu Hong Joo in time.

“The scene is dynamic beyond imagination,” said the “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938″ production team. The three friends’ friendship shines through in a place where not even the gods dare to tread.”
