KBS2’s “Love Song for Illusion” has released new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (Park Ji Hoon), who has an alter ego known as Ak Hee, and Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji), a fallen royal descendant who becomes an assassin to avenge her family but inadvertently ends up becoming the crown prince’s concubine.

Previously, Yeon Wol was imprisoned after being falsely accused of murdering the King. Ak Hee emerged, determined to save her, and took control of Sajo Hyun’s body. After successfully rescuing Yeon Wol, Ak Hee brought her to his hideout. However, by the end of the episode, their attempts to avoid Sajo Yung’s (Hwang Hee) pursuit led them to jump off a cliff together.

In the newly released stills, Sajo Hyun and Yeon Wol conceal their identities by dressing as commoners and seeking refuge in a village house. Transitioning from their original roles as Crown Prince and Concubine, the two take on the personas of an ordinary couple, overcoming obstacles together and strengthening their bond.

Additional stills show Sajo Hyun casting a tender gaze at Yeon Wol, who rests on his shoulder. Their night begins with them bickering until dawn, signaling a significant shift in their relationship toward greater warmth and affection.

As Sajo Hyun takes the place of Ak Hee, questions arise about his blossoming relationship with Yeon Wol. How will their relationship progress, and who will eventually win her heart?
