“The King of Pigs” from TVING has released a thrilling new preview of its premiere episode!

“The King of Pigs” is a thriller about people recalling their experiences as victims of violence as a result of the mysterious serial killings that begin when they receive a message from a friend from 20 years ago. The drama explores the origins of school violence and the violence that pervades modern society through these tragic characters.

The drama is based on director Yeon Sang Ho’s animated film of the same name, which has already received critical acclaim at various film festivals for its cinematic quality.

Kim Dong Wook will play Hwang Kyung Min, who is still haunted by the trauma of the school violence he witnessed 20 years ago. Kim Sung Kyu will play detective Jung Jong Suk, who is tasked with tracking down a mysterious message sent by a friend 20 years ago. Chae Jung An will play the charismatic detective Kang Jin Ah, a principled woman who will go to any length to solve a case.

Jung Jong Suk and Kang Jin Ah begin the teaser by taking on a new murder case. When she mentions that the suspect attended the same middle school as him, he is taken aback. The video then shows Hwang Kyung Min as a young boy who is viciously bullied by his peers. “Jung Jong Suk transferred to another school, and Hwang Kyung Min dropped out,” Kang Jin Ah’s voiceover says.

Hwang Kyung Min appears to be pursuing those who bullied him years ago. He takes out a knife and looks at a photo of himself from his school days. He looks up to see one of his bullies, who says, “We had a lot of fun memories back then.” “You look happy,” Hwang Kyung Min says, as if provoked by those words.

Hwang Kyung Min’s face darkens with rage as he asks, “You don’t remember Hwang Kyung Min, your plaything?” Tension mounts as it becomes unclear who Hwang Kyung Min will target next.

The film “The King of Pigs” will be released on March 18. Check out the new teaser video below!
