The long-awaited sequel to “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” is almost ready to be released!

On March 25, Newsen reported that “The Witch: The Other One” will be released in June to help the film industry recover from the effects of COVID-19.

“We are considering various possibilities, including June,” a representative from “The Witch: The Other One” said in response to the report. “Everything except the cast lineup has been decided,” they added.

“The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” is a 2018 mystery action film about a shady accident that kills a number of people. The story begins when a mysterious figure approaches high school student Ja Yoon (Kim Da Mi), who has lived a normal life without remembering the events of the night of the accident.

It was previously announced that rookie actress Shin Si Ah, who was chosen from 1,408 applicants, will play the lead in “The Witch: The Other Side.” Park Eun Bin will also appear in the film, as will Kim Da Mi and Lee Jong Suk in cameo roles. The sequel will be directed by Park Hoon Jung, who directed the first film.
