The premiere of KBS2’s upcoming fantasy rom-com “Heartbeat” is quickly approaching!

“Heartbeat” is a new fantasy romance drama starring Taecyeon from 2PM as Seon Woo Hyul, a half-human/half-vampire. Despite his desperate desire to become human, he misses his chance due to one fateful day out of 100 years. He eventually moves in with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), a cold-blooded woman who, despite being fully human, lacks humanity.

Vampire Seon Woo Hyul appears shocked as he looks into a mirror in the newly released stills. Vampires’ faces do not appear in mirrors, whereas humans’ do. Seon Woo Hyul, who awakens from nearly 100 years of sleep in a coffin to become a human, looks in the mirror and is devastated.

Joo In Hae, who heads to the basement of the house she inherited from her father, is equally perplexed when she sees something. Her surprised expression and trembling eyes indicate that something strange is going on.

The subtle tension between Seon Woo Hyul and Joo In Hae, who are facing each other, intrigues viewers, who want to know what happens to the two.

“A vampire and a human—please pay attention to the somewhat absurd yet heart-warming first encounter between the two and their stories that will unfold in the future,” the production team said.

The premiere of “Heartbeat” will take place on June 26 at 9:45 p.m. KST.
