Park Shin Hye has been given a sneak peek in JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” before of the drama’s launch!

“Doctor Slump” is a romantic comedy about two former rivals who reunite and unexpectedly become each other’s light in their darkest hour. Park Hyung Sik will play Yeo Jung Woo, a successful plastic surgeon whose career is jeopardized by an unusual medical event, and Park Shin Hye will play Nam Ha Neul, an anesthesiologist suffering from burnout syndrome.

Park Shin Hye’s character Nam Ha Neul, who possesses tremendous brilliance and tenacious tenacity, was involved in her studies as a student, and now as a doctor, she is immersed in her work. Nam Ha Neul, who has lived a “boring” life of only knowing how to study and work, decides to change her life after thinking on her history.

Nam Ha Neul is shown in the newly released stills undergoing her fellowship at a university hospital. She works tirelessly in the hospital every day, and she has little time to care for herself because she is so focused on her patients. Nam Ha Neul’s look in the still expresses her tiredness from her monotonous life.

Another image shows Nam Ha Neul, dressed in scrubs, walking down the street with sad eyes. Furthermore, Nam Ha Neul is filmed at an unfamiliar location looking anxious, with a complex mix of emotions visible on her face, making viewers even more inquisitive as to what caused Nam Ha Neul to put a stop to her fast-paced life.

Park Shin Hye stated, “I believe that everyone can go through a slump at some point in their lives.” I’ve had a similar experience. As a result, Ha Neul’s feelings had an impact on me. Personally, I believe I have shown a lot of thriller and mystery genre projects, so I wanted to meet audiences with a project that will heal them through a mundane and ordinary life tale.”

“For my acting, I had the opportunity to talk to a psychiatrist, and they told me that having depression doesn’t mean being listless all day,” the actress stated. Having a lot of emotions just means briefly forgetting how to overcome something when faced with problems. I believe I operated with those considerations in mind. “I wanted to accurately portray Ha Neul’s process of feeling healed through her family and Jung Woo, who is listless and anxious.”

The first episode of “Doctor Slump” will air on January 27 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
