The main cast and the vastly diverse group of characters they will be portraying in the upcoming KBS2 drama “Curtain Call” have been revealed in new stills.

“Curtain Call” is a drama series that will tell the story of Ja Geum Soon (Go Doo Shim), an elderly woman from North Korea who hires a young theater actor named Yoo Jae Heon (Kang Ha Neul) to fulfill her last wish with the time she has left. The drama will revolve around Ja Geum Soon’s family and the connections between these five people in Ja Geum Soon’s Paradise Hotel.

The newly released photo depicts Ja Geum Soon as a woman of strength, exuding confidence as she asserts control over herself and others.

Park Se Yeon, Ja Geum Soon’s youngest granddaughter, follows (Ha Ji Won). She manages Paradise Hotel and looks after her grandmother’s business, doing everything she can to preserve her grandmother’s legacy. Park Se Yeon’s older brother Park Se Joon (Ji Seung Hyun) is adamant that the hotel be sold because he believes its corporate value is plummeting. The two engage in a fierce battle of wills, not relenting in their pursuits of what they believe to be the right choice.

Then there’s Park Se Gyun (Choi Dae Hoon), who has withdrawn from his siblings’ conflict. In the still, he exudes indifference and general disinterest in what is going on inside the hotel, but the spark of something sharp and cutting in his gaze should not be overlooked.

Finally, Park Se Joon’s wife, Hyun Ji Won, appears (Hwang Woo Seul Hye). Hyun Ji Won, a former newscaster, supports her husband’s plan to sell the hotel, wanting nothing more than to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the Ja Geum Soon household. While she may appear to be an unassuming presence among the other family members, Hyun Ji Woo’s relationship with her husband and the character development she undergoes will make viewers want to keep an eye on her.

What will happen between these five people? And where does Yoo Jae Heon fit into all of this? Fans are undoubtedly excited for the premiere of this drama, as they wonder what truths, lies, and secrets will be revealed.

Starting on October 31, “Curtain Call” will air on KBS2 every Monday and Tuesday.
