The main posters for tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles 2” have been revealed!

The epic fantasy drama “Arthdal Chronicles” is set in the mythical ancient land of Arth. Four years after the conclusion of the first season, the series will return in September for its second season, titled “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon.”

“Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon” picks up about a decade after Season 1, with Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung appearing as older versions of the original leads. Lee Joon Gi will play the dual roles of twins Eun Seom and Sa Ya (originally played by Song Joong Ki in Season 1), while Shin Se Kyung will play Tan Ya (originally played by Kim Ji Won).

The first poster depicts a battle between Tagon, the first King of Arthdal (portrayed by Jang Dong Gun), and Eun Seom, the leader of the Ago tribe. As Arthdal’s soldiers and the Ago’s warriors fight for their lives, there is a deafening silence between their leaders, as if time has stopped.

Meanwhile, another poster depicts a similar confrontation between Tan Ya, Arthdal’s high priestess, and Tae Al Ha, the queen of Arthdal (Kim Ok Bin).

“Arthdal Chronicles 2” will be released on September 9 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
