Disney+ has released preview stills for the first three episodes of their upcoming series “The Worst of Evil”!

“The Worst of Evil,” a crime-action drama set in the 1990s, is about an investigation launched to bring down a major cartel based in Gangnam that is responsible for illegal drug trade between Korea, Japan, and China.

Ji Chang Wook will play Park Joon Mo, a detective who goes undercover in order to infiltrate the Gangnam Alliance and gain the trust of mob boss Jung Ki Chul (Wi Ha Joon). The first still captures Park Joon Mo’s compelling presence as a former rural detective now risking his life undercover in pursuit of success and recognition that he has so far eluded. Additional images show him gripping Jung Ki Chul by the collar and methodically investigating every aspect of the case, indicating his unwavering determination, exceptional observational skills, and agility.

Wi Ha Joon will portray Jung Ki Chul, the fearsome leader of the Gangnam Alliance, the epicenter of Asia’s largest drug trade. Jung Ki Chul is a man who will go to any length to gain more power and success, despite his painful past. Even during heated confrontations with Park Joon Mo when the latter visits the Gangnam Alliance’s office, the released maintains his commanding charisma and composure.

Finally, Im Se Mi plays Yoo Eui Jung, an elite narcotics officer who is Park Joon Mo’s wife as well as Jung Ki Chul’s first love. She embodies a perfect blend of sharpness and warmth in the stills, casting concerned glances toward her husband, Park Joon Mo, who appears to be hiding something. At the same time, as an elite police officer, she approaches the case with professionalism and dedication.

“The Worst of Evil” will premiere on September 27.
