New heart-fluttering stills of Im Soo Hyang and Kim Jung Hyun from the upcoming drama “Kokdu: Season of Deity” have been released!

“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a new fantasy romance that tells the story of Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun), a grim reaper who comes down to this world every 99 years to punish humans. When Kokdu meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a mysterious doctor, he begins working as a visiting doctor.

The newly released stills capture a variety of scenes between Kokdu and Doctor Han Gye Jeol, ranging from heart-fluttering eye contact to a more serious scene with a heavy atmosphere as their relationship transitions from the past to the present.

In one scene, Kokdu rushes with Han Gye Jeol in his arms, and while Han Gye Jeol appears flustered, grim reaper Kokdu remains as calm and steady as ever with a dry expression, leaving viewers intrigued by their opposing reactions. Another image shows Han Gye Jeol enthusiastically expressing her point of view, while Kokdu appears to amuse her by listening intently and leaning in, building anticipation for their playful chemistry.

Furthermore, a long-forgotten scene of a man and woman with the faces of Kokdu and Han Gye Jeol is fraught with tension. The man appears unable to move from his position, and the elegantly seated woman also remains motionless, creating an inexplicably sad scene.

The stills pique viewers’ interest in the couple’s relationship and the reason for their reunion after such a long time apart.

The first episode of “Kokdu: Season of Deity” will air on January 27 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
