Exy from WJSN will appear in the upcoming film “18 Youth” (working title), alongside Jun So Min and Kim Doyeon from Weki Meki!

On August 11, 2018, King Kong by Starship announced, “Chu So Jung (Exy) will star in the film ’18 Youth.'” Please show Chu So Jung a lot of love and interest, as she will greet [viewers] on the big screen as an actress.”

Based on a novel, “18 Youth” depicts the meeting of Hee Joo (Jun So Min), a high school teacher who is popular among students but despised by fellow teachers, and Soon Jung (Kim Doyeon), an 18-year-old high school student who finds her eccentric homeroom teacher annoying.

Chu So Jung will play Kyung Hee, a top student in Hee Joo’s class who is always ranked first. When it comes to her grades, Kyung Hee is meticulous and strategic, but she has concerns about her homeroom teacher Hee Joo, who disrupts the established order with her unusual method of discipline.

Exy made her debut as a member of the girl group WJSN in 2016 and has since expanded her acting career with roles in the drama “Idol: The Coup” and the anthology film “Urban Myths.”
