“Arthdal Chronicles 2” on tvN has revealed information about the current relationship of its four main characters!
The epic fantasy drama “Arthdal Chronicles” is set in the mythical ancient land of Arth. Four years after the conclusion of the first season, the series will return in September for its second season, titled “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun.”
“Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” picks up about a decade after Season 1, with Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung appearing as older versions of the original leads. Lee Joon Gi will play the dual roles of twins Eun Seom and Sa Ya (originally played by Song Joong Ki in Season 1), while Shin Se Kyung will play Tan Ya (originally played by Kim Ji Won). Jang Dong Gun will reprise his role as Ta Gon, Arthdal’s first king, and Kim Ok Bin will play his queen, Tae Al Ha.
“Arthdal Chronicles 2” has revealed the changing dynamics between Ta Gon, Tae Al Ha, Eun Seom, and Tan Ya ahead of the drama’s upcoming premiere. Eight years later, their societal positions have shifted significantly, resulting in complexities arising from their disparate goals.
The complicated relationship between Ta Gon and Tae Al Ha, now the reigning king and queen of Arthdal, is especially intriguing. Their bond takes an unexpected turn as they wield unimaginable power while willing to shed blood for even more power.
Most importantly, their child Arok’s presence has shifted their priorities away from personal gain. Ta Gon and Tae Al Ha are still on each other’s sides, but they don’t completely trust each other, making their precarious relationship a highlight for viewers.
The long-awaited reunion of Eun Seom and Tan Ya, childhood friends from the Wahan clan, adds to the excitement. While Eun Seom continues to struggle to free the enslaved Wahan clan in Arthdal, Tan Ya is unaware that Eun Seom now leads the Ago Union and continues to search for him, hoping for his survival.
While they haven’t openly expressed their feelings for each other, their romantic affection for each other grows as their longing grows. However, Eun Seom’s quest for victory in the great war and Tan Ya’s mission to avert a world of bloodshed will collide in a riveting clash of love and duty, leaving viewers intrigued about the two’s fate.
